Florida Insurance Continuing Education Catalog

What courses should I take?

All Florida licensed insurance producers must take a 4 Hour Law and Ethics course that is specific to their license requirement. The remaining hours of coursework can be completed with any courses in our catalog. Florida has moved to an "electives" requirement meaning after the ethics is complete, a producer can take any approved course to meet the remaining hours required. The only exceptions to this are Title licensees who have specific training requirements for both ethics and the remaining CE hours. Learn more.

Why is there seat time required?

The state of Florida's Bureau of Licensing has asked all education providers to implement course controls within their online content to ensure coursework is not rapidly skimmed through to access the final exam. In order to provide you as much autonomy within the course material, our system will implement a minimum 20% seat time within the course material for all self-study programs prior to accessing the final exam.
