Description

An individual may not sell, solicit, or negotiate long-term care insurance unless the individual is licensed as an insurance producer for accident and health or sickness insurance or life insurance and has completed an initial training course and ongoing training every 24 months thereafter. Insurance producers are required to successfully complete training that has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. This training includes basic information about Medical Assistance (MA) eligibility and asset protection as it relates to the Long Term Care Partnership (LTCP).

This course is meant to satisfy the initial training requirement in the state of Minnesota.
