Missouri DCI Moving Education Provider Applications & Renewals to SBS for Organizations Beginning June 1, 2026

The Missouri Department of Commerce & Insurance (DCI) has announced an important update for education providers.

Effective Monday, June 1, 2026, all providers will submit their Missouri DCI Education Provider applications, Course applications, and Course renewals through SBS for Organizations. Previously, Missouri contracted with Sircon (Vertafore) for these services.

This transition will streamline the education provider process and centralize access through the State Based Systems (SBS) platform where roster processing for Missouri already takes place.

What Is Changing?

Beginning June 1, 2026:

  • All Education Provider applications for Missouri will be in SBS for Organizations
  • All Course applications for Missouri will be through SBS for Organizations
  • All Course renewals for Missouri will be through SBS for Organizations

Missouri DCI is also implementing a new course expiration policy:

Upcoming Course Renewal Change

Course expiration dates will now expire one year from the course effective date.

Providers will have access to renew courses beginning 90 days prior to the course expiration date.

This annual renewal structure will apply going forward, so providers should plan ahead to ensure courses remain active and compliant.
