Vermont Workers Compensation Continuing Education

Effective: April 1, 2024

The State of Vermont is updating its delivery methods for Continuing Education for Workers’ Compensation Adjusters.

Current Rule: Workers’ Compensation Adjusters must complete in-person continuing education to complete their license renewal requirements.

New Rule: The Vermont Department of Financial Regulation will allow other methods (virtual, other conference, in-person meeting, etc.) of continuing education for Workers’ Compensation Adjusters.

The state just recently notified education providers of this change so they can update their catalogs to include more flexible training options for these adjusters.

What is the new CE requirement? 8-credit hours will be needed per adjuster per cycle.
