Chief Financial Officer of Florida Jimmy Patronis issued the following Emergency Order:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Section 1. Sections 626.7352 and 626.7354(4) are waived to the extent they prohibit a Customer Representative from transacting insurance at a location other than the office of the agent or agency whom the customer representative represents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Section 2. The deadlines for complying with the continuing education requirements that would otherwise occur during the months of October 2024, November 2024, and December 2024, pursuant to Section 626.2815, Florida Statutes, are hereby extended for a period of 60 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Section 3. This Directive shall remain in effect for a period of 60 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can read the full emergency order <a href=\"https:\/\/myfloridacfo.com\/docs-sf\/consumer-services-libraries\/consumerservices-documents\/storm\/cfo-emergency-order-ce-and-evacuations-2024-03.pdf?sfvrsn=285f728f_1\">here<\/a> and confirm whether your county is part of the state of emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Florida is also accepting Emergency Adjuster applicants from licensed insurance companies or independent adjusting firms.
